Не последний, а крайний
Не последний, а крайний is a free Chrome add-on developed by eugene.shatilo. This add-on aims to make your internet browsing experience safer and more accessible by automatically replacing certain words and phrases that are considered inappropriate by some superstitious individuals.
Currently, the add-on fixes the following words:
- The word "последний" (last) will be replaced with "крайний" (extreme), as referring to something as "last" implies it is the final event, which can be interpreted as deadly. It is also not appropriate to refer to people, objects, etc. as "last." It is recommended to avoid using this word altogether.
- The word "плавать" (to swim) will be replaced with "ходить" (to walk), as sailors do not swim but rather walk on water.
- The word "рисовать" (to draw) will be replaced with "писать" (to write), as artists do not draw but rather write their masterpieces.
The add-on allows you to disable words that you do not want to be automatically replaced. For example, if you are not a sailor, you can disable the corresponding option. However, it is strongly recommended not to disable the "крайний" (extreme) option, as browsing the internet may become deadly otherwise.
